Track Rules

MMX Montalba Motocross Track

Track Rules

·                    Protective Equipment is required at all times when riding Bike, Quad, or Mini.

·              Protective Gear includes Helmet, Long Pants, Gloves, and Riding Boots (Boots that cover ankles).

·                    In addition we strongly suggest Chest Protector, Kidney Belt, Knee Pads/Knee Braces.

·                    All Spectators must sign Waiver Form prior to entering the track area. 

·                    All riders must sign Waiver Form form and pay practice/race fee before entering track.

·        Any Rider under 17 must have a Parent or Legal Guardian sign the Waiver Form.

·                    Only registered riders may ride.

·                    Intentional take outs or extremely ruff riding will not be allowed.

·                    5 M.P.H..Speed Limit anywhere off the track.

·                    Only designated Bike sizes allowed on Track during organized practices.

·                    No practice Starts allowed, unless organized by track personnel.

·                    No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed.

·                    Riders must adhere to all flags.

                        - Black, Checkered, or Red – Off the track.

                        - Yellow Flag – No jumping or passing – Slow.

·                    Montalba MX, Inc. – accepts no responsibility for injury or loss of personal property.  If you do not have your own medical insurance, or if you feel that the track is un-safe for any reason, Please do not ride.

·                    Any fighting between riders or spectators will result in rejection from the premises for riders and spectators involved.  This includes verbal abuse.

·                    These rules are for your safety and the track's staff safety.

·                    Have Fun!

 

 Rider Courtesies

·                    Hold your line.  When a faster rider comes up behind you, do not try to move out of the way.  A faster rider will get around you.  Respect the other riders and their abilities.  Parents should explain this to inexperienced riders.

·                    If you fall or stall your motorcycle, you should push it off the track before starting.

·                    If you must cut the track, look for oncoming riders, re-enter when the lane is clear.

Corner Track

·                    The Corner track is for training and conditioning purposes.  Only one (1) rider allowed on the Corner Track at a time.

·                    Racing bike to bike on the Corner Track is not allowed.

·                    If the Corner Track needs watering, please notify the track personnel.
